Lord, we thank you
for the goodness of our people
and for the spirit of justice
that fills this nation.
We thank you for the beauty and fullness of the
land and the challenge of the cities.
We thank you for our work and our rest,
for one another, and for our homes.
We thank you, Lord:
accept our thanksgiving on this day.
We pray and give thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord.
After a year and half of distancing, we were blessed to have the opportunity once again to take on street outreach the eve before Thanksgiving. We handed out 45 bento meals from donations by our parishioners. We brought along a few youth as well to show compassion and care for our brothers and sisters out in the streets... that we are humbled this evening through the realization that what we already have is truly enough to give praise and thanksgiving to God.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!
