Aloha!

Lisa F.
I grew up in Maryland and have a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I moved to Kona in 2005 and have several years’ experience facilitating groups and counseling individuals, couples, and families on the Big Island. I have assisted clients dealing with loss, stress, communication, interpersonal conflict, marital relationships, family relationships, career development, life transitions, substance abuse, and many other issues. I am a volunteer at Hospice of Kona where I co-facilitate a Bereavement Group. I am also a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the State of Hawai’i.
I believe that the mind, body and spirit are integrated and uniquely important in every person’s life. Every individual is unique and possesses the strength and wisdom to overcome challenges or heal from difficult situations. Come talk story and let me help you reach your full potential.
